Salonblo COVID-19 Protocols
Since our closure we have been monitoring and getting prepared for reopening in accordance to provincial and municipal guidelines required for the safety, sanitation, and social distancing to keep our staff and guests protected in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.
When we are allowed to open our new hours of operation will be as follows:
Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 8pm
Saturday: 9am - 5pm
We will work by appointment only. To safely serve you, you will be greeted at the entrance to review our enhanced safety protocols.
At Salonblo, you can expect to see our staff cleaning frequently touched surface more often, including doorknobs, phones, equipment, furniture, handrails, throughout the facility as well as the tools we use to perform services.
Appointment Guidelines at Salonblo:
Employees nor guests will be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 Symptoms
Guests will be served by appointment only
We will no longer have a waiting area. Upon your arrival please call the salon to let us know you are here. Please wait in your car or outside at a safe physical distance from others.
Guests will be greeted at the entrance.
Employees and guests will be required to respond to a questionnaire and receive a temperature check prior to entering premises.
Guests will be expected to wash their hands or use sanitizer upon entering the salon.
We will no longer be serving beverages and there will be no magazines in the salon.
The number of guests on premises will limited to 50% of normal capacity to ensure social distancing guidelines.

Customers will be serviced at stations six feet apart from other customers
Employees and guests will wear protective face coverings. We encourage you to bring your own clean face covering or we will provide one.
To avoid contamination by exchanging money, we asked that you be prepared to use debit or credit card only.
We have contactless payment equipment for your added safety. This will also allow an efficient check out to minimize time spent in the salon given very strict distancing rules.
Payment equipment will be sanitized after each customer for your safety.
Guests will be asked to limit bringing excess clothing and belongs such as purses, sweaters, coats, etc. to minimize and surface contact with other contents in the salon
Disposable capes for each customer will be provided
All equipment used by a service provider will be sanitized between guests
Doors and exits will be sanitized upon every entry and exit
We ask that your stylist or our receptionist handle products if you would like to purchase them
We will no longer have the blow-dry after colour or ruffle dry option available if you do not have a service scheduled after a colour. Clients will be towel-dried really well and combed through at the sink.
Due to enhanced cleaning/sanitation/disinfecting measures and PPE there will be a $5.00/service charge to cover the additional costs.
We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you are healthy, we look forward to seeing you with your protective face covering.
